Situated in the heart of the historic Open Weald country of Kent and East Sussex, The Queens Inn, while steeped in its own rich history, is only one hour from London by train and only minutes away from some of England’s most historic and interesting sites.

We invite you to stay at The Queens and enjoy the rustic ambience of this 16th Coaching Inn, reportedly visited by Queen Elizabeth I during her journey to Rye and the Cinque Ports.

Lovingly restored to its former glory, The Queens Inn has a cosmopolitan air promising country hospitality combined with a high level of service and efficiency.

Quality food is served all day, starting with the breakfast /brunch menu from 9.00am to 11am (Saturdays Only) followed by the lunch menu from 12 noon - 6pm and the dinner menu from 6pm to 9.30pm Sunday -Thursday and to 10pm Fridays and Saturdays. Regular Opening hours 11am Monday - Friday.

We regularly host a variety of special events in our recently refurbished and redecorated Victoria Suite Function Rooms as well as live music in the Wine Bar and our new   see our Events Guide for details.

We are very fortunate in boasting two beautiful bars, a smart Wine Bar and our   Alexandrias bar.  If it is a fine day, our front garden provides a wonderful place to sit and enjoy some time in this beautiful part of the country.

The Queens Inn boasts a justifiable reputation for fine food.  Our extensive menu is available from Monday to Saturday and our famous Queens Carvery is available every Sunday - ours are the best Yorkshire Puddings in Kent!  Breakfast/Brunch is available every day.
