The Queens Inn has two spacious and elegantly appointed Georgian Function Rooms with their own private bar, available for social or business use.

The two rooms can cater for up to 150 people when combined, whilst the smaller function room by itself is ideal for meetings and private parties.

As banqueting suites, seating up to 90 for a formal dinner and catering up to 150 for a more informal occasion, the function rooms are perfect for Weddings and Receptions, Private Parties, Society Dinners, Rotary or Round Table evenings.

Weddings

The elegant candlelit charm of this 16th century Inn provides a unique atmosphere for your special wedding day.

On arrival your guests will be enchanted by the beautiful Elizabethan décor, including antique furniture, inglenook fireplaces and exposed oak beams, and displays of beautiful fresh flowers.

You will have exclusive use of the recently refurbished and tastefully decorated wine bar, where you can receive up to 120 guests in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.  As a delightful contrast your dinner will be served in the more formal setting of the Georgian Function Suite.

Renowned for its hospitality, character, en-suite accommodation and excellent cuisine, The Queens Inn offers sumptuous culinary delights for both formal and informal occasions.  The famous Queens Carvery is a popular choice for a traditional dinner.  For a menu with flair may we tempt you from our wide range of à la carte specialties? Whatever you preference, we can provide a choice of dishes to make your event a celebration to remember.

Room Hire

Room hire includes:

• Exclusive use of our wine bar for afternoon weddings
• The Victoria Suite bar adjoined to the function rooms for the evening
• Complimentary flower displays for both picture windows
• Fully laid tables including tablecloths, glassware, linen napkins, cake table and gift table
• Compimentary four poster Camelot Suite

Seating is arranged on round tables (apart from head table) seating up to 10 on each table. However, if requested rectangular tables are available.

Room hire charge is based upon the number of guests and decoration requests.

Wedding Dinner

A meeting with our Head Chef will be arranged so that you may discuss your preferred cuisine.

Prices will be based upon the number of guests and dishes requested.

Beverages

The Queens offers an excellent wine list including Australian, New Zealand, French, Italian, Chilean and locally produced English wines.

If you wish to bring your own wine, corkage will be charged at £8.00 per bottle and £12.00 per 750ml bottle of champagne.

Flowers and Decorations

We offer complimentary flower arrangements for both picture windows.

You are most welcome to organise your own flowers and decorations. However we can either advise you or provide you with information on suitable floral arrangements and other decorations.

Music

Please discuss your music requirements with us before booking a disco or band and note that our entertainment licence permits both the music and the bar facilities to be extended until 12 midnight.

Accommodation

The Queens Inn offers comfortable hotel accommodation in eight beautifully presented guest rooms.

All rooms include en-suite bathrooms, colour TV, tea & coffee facilities and direct dial telephones.

Our luxurious four-poster Camelot Suite completes your romantic day. This is offered to the Bride and Groom with our compliments.
